Victopia Apartment Reclad

Located at 135 Victoria Street West in central Auckland, Victopia Apartments is a 15-storey, 204-unit residential building. It’s been undergoing a major top-to-bottom remediation, with Symonite engaged to completely overhaul the exterior using a specifically designed solid aluminium cladding system after approximately 5% of the existing cladding failed due to engineering issues.

The scope included approximately 2,400 Alucolux cladding panels in a light grey finish, installed using a hook-and-pin system, along with the supply and installation of around 580 aluminium windows and doors — bringing together two key areas of Symonite’s façade expertise: cladding and aluminium joinery.
