Parkwood Apartments, Newmarket

Parkwood Apartments is an eight-storey, 27-unit residential complex in Newmarket undergoing a comprehensive building remediation. The project follows an earlier repair undertaken approximately 12 years ago, making long-term performance and confidence in the new façade particularly important.

As part of the remediation, Symonite was engaged to supply and install the building’s new aluminium panel façade.

The system comprises 3mm solid Alucolux panels with a pre-painted finish, installed using Symonite’s hook-and-pin system. Much of the façade has been designed as a faceted installation, creating a distinctive architectural form while introducing additional complexity across panel design, fabrication and installation.
